One more day in the barrel, and the law would have called it something else. Casa Noble Reposado deliberately balances right on the edge of the Añejo category, and that extra time gives it a depth you rarely find in a standard Reposado.
Expert Description
Casa Noble Reposado is a Mexican Reposado Tequila made from 100% agave, bottled at 40%.
Casa Noble was founded in 1993 by Jose "Pepe" Hermosillo, whose family has been distilling tequila for seven generations. The agave is grown on the estate's own high-altitude land in western Jalisco, in volcanic soil, and is certified organic. Where most Reposado tequilas rest for four to six months, Casa Noble lets its Reposado mature for a full 364 days in new French oak barrels, one day short of the time that would legally make it an Añejo. The extended ageing gives the tequila a body and complexity closer to an older expression.
