Les Éléments is the gateway to Domaine Bott-Geyl's universe - a range where each grape variety is allowed to stand alone and show its pure character, grown biodynamically on the estate's land in Katzenthal.

    Expert's Description

Bott Geyl Les Éléments 2017 is a White Wine from Alsace, France, with an alcohol content of 13.5%. Domaine Bott-Geyl traces its roots back to 1795 and is today run by Jean-Christophe Bott, who in 2002 converted the entire estate to biodynamic viticulture out of a conviction that only living soil produces truly expressive wines. The Les Éléments range is the house's most accessible line and includes single-varietal editions of, among others, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, where each bottle reflects the pure grape character rather than a specific single vineyard.
