Anti Cake Deluxe Blend is Blackout Brewing's most ambitious project in the cake series - several cake-inspired stouts blended together and aged on bourbon barrels in one combined experience.

Expert description of Blackout Brewing Anti Cake Deluxe Blend Bourbon BA Imperial Stout

Anti Cake Deluxe Blend is a heavy, dark, dessert-like Imperial Stout at 11% from the Romanian brewery Blackout Brewing, where several cake-inspired stouts are blended and subsequently aged on bourbon barrels. The result is an intense, sweet and deeply complex beer with both warmth, depth and pronounced barrel character.

The beer appears almost black in the glass with a thick, oily viscosity that already hints at its concentrated nature. The aroma offers dark chocolate, burnt caramel, vanilla, dark brown sugar and roasted malts, combined with distinct bourbon notes of oak, warm spices and a mild alcoholic sweetness. The flavour is full-bodied, creamy and intense - the dark malts deliver cocoa, espresso, liquorice and caramelised sugar, while the cake-inspired elements give a soft, sweet and almost confectionery-like character.

The finish is long, deep and persistent with dark chocolate, toasted oak, bourbon, caramel and a sweet, warm ending. Anti Cake Deluxe Blend suits those who love heavy, barrel-aged and sweet stouts with plenty of depth and character.
