In 1990, Badger Mountain became the first certified organic vineyard in the state of Washington. The family has stuck to the same philosophy ever since - grapes grown without pesticides, and wine without added sulfites, just what nature puts in the bottle on its own.
Expert's Description
Badger Mountain Vineyard Chardonnay Organic 2019 is a White Wine from Columbia Valley in the USA made from the Chardonnay grape, bottled at 12.5% ABV.
The vineyard sits on an 80-acre estate in Kennewick in eastern Washington and was, in 1990, the first certified organic vineyard in the state. The grapes are grown entirely without synthetic fertiliser or pesticides, and the wine is labelled NSA - No Sulfites Added - meaning the only sulfites in the bottle are the ones that occur naturally during fermentation.
