The same sunshine-coloured aperitif as the classic - just in a giant 300 cl party bottle made to keep the celebration going.

    Expert description

Aperol Aperitivo BIG BOTTLE is an Italian Herbal liqueur based on sweet and bitter oranges, rhubarb and herbs, bottled at 11% in a large 300 cl bottle.

Aperol was created in 1919 by brothers Luigi and Silvio Barbieri in the northern Italian city of Padua, who wanted an aperitif with lower alcohol strength than the other bitter liqueurs of the time. The recipe is still secret, but the signature orange colour and bittersweet taste come from a blend of oranges, rhubarb and a wide range of herbs and roots. Today Aperol is owned and produced by Gruppo Campari. The BIG BOTTLE format is made for parties, receptions and summer events, where many Aperol Spritz need pouring at once.

    Taste

The nose is refreshing with bitter oranges and a hint of herbs. On the palate, Aperol Aperitivo is bittersweet and easy-drinking with a clear orange character, while the finish is short and cleansing with a pleasant bitterness.
