Albert Michler's roots trace back to the old Austro-Hungarian Empire, and under the Ron Espero name the distillery has found a new way into Danish homes with a soft, banana-spiced rum.
Expert Description
A. Michler Ron Espero Caribbean Banana is a Rum with added banana flavouring, bottled at 40%.
The rum carries the name Albert Michler, one of the oldest distilleries and rum houses from the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, founded in 1863 in Buchsdorf, present-day Buková in the Czech Republic. Today's Albert Michler Distillery runs the business from Great Britain, but still carries the name forward in honour of the original house. Under the Ron Espero name, the distillery blends rum sourced from Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago and the Dominican Republic, here spiced with natural banana flavouring for a sweet, tropical style.
The result is a soft, lightly sweet rum, where ripe banana meets caramel and a touch of vanilla in a rounded, easy-drinking profile.
