A few months resting in French and American oak is enough to turn clear tequila into golden honey. 1800 Reposado is the milder, sweeter side of the same family's 250-year-old craft.
Expert Description
1800 Reposado is a Mexican Reposado Tequila made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and bottled at 38% alcohol. Like the rest of the range, it is distilled at the historic La Rojeña distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, where Casa Cuervo has made tequila since 1758. 1800 Tequila is its own brand within the Cuervo group, named after 1800 – the year the Beckmann family first rested tequila in oak.
1800 Reposado rests for a minimum of 6 months in a combination of French and American oak, giving it a golden honey colour and a round, lightly smoky character. The same trapezoidal bottle and batch-number signature that mark the whole 1800 family carry through here too.
