Teerenpeli Kulo Sherry Matured Single Malt Finnish Whisky is matured in sherry casks and bottled at a higher strength than its sister edition Kaski, giving added intensity, bottled at 50%. Teerenpeli was founded as a brewery and restaurant in 1994 by Anssi and Marianne Pyysing in Lahti, Finland. In 2002 the distillery began producing malt whisky, making Teerenpeli Finland's oldest whisky distillery. Today the distillery is the largest in the country, producing over 100,000 litres of new spirit annually, still as a family-owned company.
