Strega Sambuca is an Italian anise liqueur from Strega Alberti Benevento, at 38% alcohol.

Strega Alberti Benevento was founded in 1860 in the town of Benevento in the Campania region, and the house is today best known for its original herbal liqueur. The Sambuca is a newer addition to the range, but is built on the same craftsmanship tradition that has made the family one of Italy's most respected names in liqueur.

Taste

The taste is sweet and warm with distinct notes of anise, and the liqueur can be enjoyed as a shot in coffee or flambéed in a glass with three roasted coffee beans – known in Italian as "Sambuca con Mosca".
