The new Limited Edition release is created using only the finest Speyside Malts, including those distilled at Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes Distilleries. Just 4800 bottles of this rare breed are available globally, a number that is proudly displayed on the product’s gift tube. The striking, gold foiled packaging features a somewhat startled Scallywag, his ears perked and his monocle blasted off, having just experienced his first taste of the spicy, fruity, chocolatey dram.

Tasting Notes:
Cask Strength Scallywag has a deep, dark colour – extracted from the many fine Spanish Sherry Butts selected. On the nose, it carries a rich, orange marmalade character, complemented by cinnamon and warm ginger. On the big, chewy palate, detect warmingly spiced apple and rhubarb crumble, with a distinct coffee note. Vanilla from our specially selected bourbon hogshead casks becomes apparent too, alongside a sweet raisin and fudge quality. The long and fruity finish displays dark chocolate and toasted oaks against a sweet and juicy backdrop.
