Strictly Limited is Càrn Mòr's series of younger releases, all bottled at 47.5% and typically composed of a smaller vatting of casks. The series has previously featured whisky from distilleries such as Ardmore, Glen Ord, Bunnahabhain, Benrinnes, Ben Nevis, Pulteney, Caol Ila, BenRiach and Mortlach.

This Ruadh Maor was distilled in 2011 at Glenturret and matured for 11 years in a refill sherry hogshead, before being bottled at 47.5%. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Fresh barley malt and a sweet tone of soft peat smoke.

Palate

Sweet and lightly smoky, with barley malt and a hint of peat.

Finish

Medium length, soft and lightly smoky.
