Rooster Rojo Reposado Tequila

Rooster Rojo produces at Fabrica de Tequilas Finos, located in the city of Tequila in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The producer started in 2000, but is housed in a beautiful old colonial building from 1923 and produces a wide range of different tequila series. Rooster Rojo Tequila is produced from 100% blue agave and comes in three varieties; Blanco, Reposado and Añejo. Rooster Rojo Reposado has been aged for at least 2 months in French oak barrels to give it a hint of oak. Reposado has a brownish/light straw yellow color and a delicate aroma of ripe fruit, agave and a hint of oak. The taste is rich with notes of vanilla, caramel and agave followed by a warm, concentrated and silky smooth finish.
