As the very first release in RomDeLuxe's Collectors Series, Imperial Navy gathers four countries' rum heritage into one bottle, a tribute to the classic navy rum style where Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica and Guyana meet.
Expert Description
RomDeLuxe Imperial Navy is a Caribbean Rum, a blend of rum from Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica and Guyana aged 10-11 years, bottled at 57.18%.
The rum is assembled by RomDeLuxe, the Danish independent bottler founded in 2016 by Claus Andersen, Thomas Nielsen and Lasse Bjørklund. As number 1 in the house's Collectors Series, Imperial Navy combines distillates from four classic rum nations: 28% 10-year-old rum from Trinidad, 26% 11-year-old from Jamaica, 24% 11-year-old from Guyana and 22% 10-year-old from Barbados. No sugar or colour has been added, and the rum is bottled unfiltered from just 989 bottles.
The result is a full-bodied, complex rum, where vanilla and coconut meet burnt oak and a hint of diesel.
