Riedel Vinum Single Malt is a machine-blown Whisky Glass in Crystal Glass from the Austrian glassmaking house Riedel, designed specifically for single malt whisky and other quality whiskies that deserve to be nosed rather than just drunk.

Riedel has been making glass since 1756, and the family is now in its eleventh generation of glassblowers and designers. Although Riedel is best known for wine, the Single Malt glass shows that the same philosophy about shape and aroma applies to spirits too - and that centuries of craftsmanship reach well beyond the wine glass.

Design & Material

The bowl is tulip-shaped and narrower at the rim than an ordinary tumbler, which concentrates the whisky's aromas into a focused stream toward the nose, while the glass remains comfortable to drink from.

Use & Recommendation

Use the glass for single malt whisky and other whiskies where you want more from the nose than an ordinary tumbler offers, without going all the way to a narrow nosing glass. It is dishwasher safe and can go straight into the dishwasher.
