A whisky highball or a simple gin and tonic needs height, room for ice, and a long column of mixer. Riedel Highball is the straight, slender tumbler built for exactly that style of drink.
The Expert’s Description
Riedel Highball is a classic highball glass from the Drinks Specific Glassware series by the Austrian glassmaker Riedel, made from machine-blown crystal glass and shaped for long, mixed drinks over ice.
The glass is designed for the classic serve where spirit, ice, and a generous amount of mixer share the same glass, whether it's a whisky highball or another long drink. If you want whisky as the base, take a look at our range of Whisky.
Design & Material
The straight, slender shape with parallel sides is the tallest in the 6417 series after All Purpose, leaving plenty of room for ice plus a long column of mixer above the spirit. The crystal glass is machine-blown, giving an even, clear result despite the simple, straight-sided shape.
Use & Recommendation
Highball is designed for long drinks with plenty of ice and mixer, whether that's a whisky highball, a gin and tonic, or another long drink. The glass is dishwasher safe and suited to everyday use.
