The rum is produced by Puntacana Rum Distillery in the Dominican Republic, known for its experimental approach to cask maturation. By combining up to six different cask types, Muy Viejo achieves a layered complexity, where each cask adds its own nuance of spice, fruit and sweetness to the final blend.
