Very well made with a clean and inviting taste, further highlighted by a well-balanced sweetness - you automatically want another glass, even though this sparkling wine is practically alcohol-free.

    Expert's Description

Pierre Chavin Zero Sparkling is an alcohol-free Sparkling Wine from France, made from Chardonnay with an alcohol content of 0.5%. Domaines Pierre Chavin was founded in 2010 by Mathilde Boulachin in Béziers in Languedoc-Roussillon, and the name was chosen deliberately - Pierre is the most common first name in France, and Chavin is built around the word "vin" (wine). The wine is first produced as regular sparkling wine and then undergoes a gentle low-temperature dealcoholisation process, typically using vacuum distillation or a spinning cone column, which removes the alcohol while preserving the aroma, texture and complexity of the original wine.
