Penelope Toasted Straight Bourbon Whiskey is finished in toasted (not charred) oak casks, giving it an added sweetness and a softer caramel character, bottled at 50%. Penelope Bourbon was founded in 2018 by Mike Paladini and childhood friend Danny Polisse to celebrate the birth of Paladini's daughter, Penelope. The whiskey is distilled at MGP's historic distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, founded in 1847, as well as at Bardstown Bourbon Company in Kentucky, and is then composed as battings of several cask types.
