Blackadder is a family-run independent bottler, founded in 1995 by Robin Tucek and John Lamond and today carried on by Robin together with his children Michael and Hannah. The company's Raw Cask series is defined by the fact that nothing is removed from the cask, neither through chill filtration nor colouring – natural sediment from the cask is included in the bottle as a guarantee that the rum is in its completely raw, untouched state. This edition was distilled in 2007 and matured for 14 years in Panama's tropical climate before being bottled in 2021.
