    Expert description

Octomore 16.3 is a super-peated Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Bruichladdich, matured for 5 years and bottled at 61.6%.

The whisky is distilled from Concerto barley grown at Octomore Farm in Church Field on Islay, making it a terroir-driven edition with a clear local character. It's matured for five years in a combination of bourbon, Sauternes and Pedro Ximénez casks, adding sweetness, complexity and depth to the powerful smoke profile.

With a ppm count of 189.5, 16.3 is the culmination of the series and a clear expression of Bruichladdich's philosophy of transparency, terroir and innovation.
