VSOP sits in the middle of Christian Drouin's classic range, between the lighter Sélection and the older XO. By blending calvados spanning five to twelve years, the house achieves a profile with both fresh fruit and an emerging depth from the cask. Christian Drouin has distilled calvados in the Pays d'Auge since 1960 and is today run by the third generation of the family.
