The gin retains the classic Hendrick's base of cucumber and rose, but layers in a vibrant, tropical complexity from Amazonian flora.
Exotic Amazon plants join Hendrick's classic eleven botanicals and the signature rose-cucumber infusion that gives the gin its characteristic base.
Amazonia is a limited release, originally sold exclusively at airports, making it one of the rarer Hendrick's expressions.
Tasting notes
Nose
The nose bursts with finely chopped pineapple, guava, passion fruit, sweet lime and a hint of rose.
Palate
The palate offers juicy citrus followed by juniper and earthy notes, sweet pineapple, orange and lime with hints of guava and dragon fruit.
Finish
The finish is cooling with cucumber and citrus and gentle earthy undertones.
