From the mountains around Hallingdal comes this Norwegian pink gin, where wild berries give the gin its natural rosy colour, entirely without artificial additives.
Expert's description
Harahorn Pink Gin is a Norwegian small batch gin from Det Norske Brenneri, bottled at 40%.
Botanicals include juniper, blueberries, rhubarb, seaweed, marjoram and angelica root, while raspberries add the gin's distinctive flavour and colour without any artificial colouring.
The combination of blueberries and rhubarb gives a natural sweetness and fruitiness, while seaweed and marjoram add earthy, complex undertones.
Det Norske Brenneri sources many of its botanicals from the nature surrounding the distillery, giving the Harahorn range a distinctly Norwegian identity.
