Glenfiddich 19 Years Old Age of Discovery Madeira Cask is a Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks finished in Madeira casks and bottled at 40%. Age of Discovery Madeira Cask matures for 19 years in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in casks that previously held Madeira wine. That adds a deep, nutty sweetness that clearly sets it apart from the distillery's other Age of Discovery expressions.

Nose

Toasted nuts, dried apricot and a warm, wine-like sweetness.
