Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Limited Design "Our Original Twelve" is a classic single malt whisky from Speyside, presented in a special edition with exclusive packaging that celebrates the distillery’s heritage and craftsmanship. This whisky is known as the gateway to Glenfiddich’s universe and is one of the world’s most recognized and best-selling single malts. It represents the distillery’s signature style with its fresh, fruity character and soft, rounded taste.

The whisky is matured for at least twelve years in a combination of American ex-bourbon casks and European ex-Oloroso sherry casks. After maturation, the whisky is married in large wooden vats called marrying tuns, where it rests and integrates, allowing the flavor notes to harmonize. This process helps ensure a consistent and balanced profile in every bottle.

On the nose, it offers a fresh and clean aroma with notes of pear, green apple, and a hint of citrus. There is also a subtle sweetness from vanilla and honey, derived from the bourbon casks. The casks that have been stuck together have been married in a so-called "marrying tun", which helps to create complexity and intensity in the whisky.
