From the Yarra Valley comes this powerful gin, where Australian finger lime and turmeric meet fresh ginger at a strength that intensifies the entire botanical palette.
Expert's description
Four Pillars Navy Strength Gin is an Australian Navy Strength Gin, bottled at 58.8%.
The gin is built on nine carefully selected botanicals, including juniper, fresh ginger root, turmeric, native finger limes and classic botanicals such as coriander seed and star anise.
The fresh ginger adds spiciness, while the turmeric brings weight and earthiness, and finger limes, grown in Byron Bay, provide an intense citrus-fresh character.
Compared to the house's Rare Dry Gin, the Navy Strength edition has more zesty notes of orange and lemon rind, lemongrass, sea salt and anise.
