    East London Single Malt 2022 is an English Single Malt Whisky made from 100% malted barley from Norfolk, bottled at 47%.

    The whisky is brewed, distilled and matured at East London Liquor Company, using 100% malted barley grown in Norfolk. The whisky is double pot distilled and has matured for a minimum of 3 years in a combination of bourbon and rye casks from Sonoma as well as bourbon casks from Kentucky. East London Liquor Company opened in 2014 as the first distillery in the East End for over a century and prides itself on controlling the entire process from grain to bottle.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

    Stewed apples, chocolate and oatmeal biscuits.

    Palate

    Ripe pineapple with a touch of Szechuan pepper, giving a light spicy edge to the fruity sweetness.

    Finish

    Lingering spice with a gentle touch of chocolate and ripe apples.
