Two islands, one bottle. Jamaica's funky pot still character meets Trinidad's elegant column still style in this blend from 1423.
Expert description
Companero Gran Reserva is a Rum, blended from pot still rum from Jamaica and column still rum from Trinidad, bottled at 40%.
Companero is the Danish independent bottler 1423's rum series, and Gran Reserva is the house's take on a classic, well-balanced blending style. The Jamaican pot still rum contributes tropical fruit and funky, ester-rich notes, while the Trinidadian column still rum provides elegance and a smooth, woody finish, together creating a rum that combines the best of both Caribbean traditions.
