Four countries, one bottle. Compagnie des Indes West Indies 8 Year is proof of how differently the Caribbean can taste when gathered into a single glass.
Expert description
Compagnie des Indes 8 Year West Indies is a Blended Rum composed of distillates from Guyana, Panama, Barbados and the Dominican Republic, bottled at 40%.
The blend is assembled by the French independent bottler Compagnie des Indes, without additives, bringing together rum from four very different Caribbean traditions in a single bottle. The result is a rum that attempts to gather the best of several styles rather than cultivate one single distillery character, making it a good starting point for understanding the breadth of Caribbean rum.

Did you know?
Compagnie des Indes takes its name from the historic European East India companies, and the bottler's philosophy is likewise to travel the world in search of the best rum distillates rather than sticking to one region.
