Cointreau Noir is a French orange liqueur from Cointreau uniting distilled essence of sweet and bitter orange peels with cognac from the house's own Rémy Martin, bottled at 40% ABV.
The liqueur is composed of around 70% classic Cointreau orange liqueur and 30% cognac, which is then macerated with walnuts and almonds, adding a deep, nutty roundness. The result is a darker, drier take on the familiar Cointreau, built to be enjoyed as a spirit in its own right rather than just a cocktail ingredient.
