An American single malt finished in port casks — fruity, sweet and full-bodied.

    Expert description

Boulder Spirits Port Cask American Single Malt Whiskey is made from 100% malted barley and finished in port casks, adding fruit and sweetness to the base American oak character, bottled at 46%. Boulder Spirits was founded by Scotsman Alastair Brogan, who moved to Colorado in 2011 and started the distillery as Vapor Distillery. The goal was to create a single malt whiskey 'unique to Colorado with a Scottish accent'. The distillery installed one of Colorado's largest copper pot stills and helped establish the American Single Malt Whiskey category, which was only officially recognised in the US in 2025.
