Blossa Glögg Trestjärnig Guld Starkvinsglögg is a combination of fortified wine, glögg spices and the finest cognac - a Swedish Christmas tradition built on fortified wine rather than ordinary red wine.
Expert's Description
Blossa Trestjärnig Guld is a Fortified Wine Glögg from Sweden with an alcohol content of 21%, made from Tarragona, Moscatel and Pedro Ximénez grapes with added cognac. Blossa is Sweden's best-selling glögg brand and is today owned by Anora Group, but traces its heritage back to 19th-century Swedish wine trading traditions, where spirit-fortified wines spiced with cinnamon, cardamom and cloves became a fixed part of Christmas. The Trestjärnig range - "three stars" - is the house's most exclusive line, where a base of sweet Spanish fortified wines gives a fuller and more complex foundation than ordinary glögg.
