Barrell Craft Spirits Dovetail American Whiskey is a complex blend of several American whiskey styles from different sources, bottled at cask strength, 62.7%. Barrell Craft Spirits was founded in 2013 by Joe Beatrice, who, unlike most American whiskey brands, didn't start by building his own distillery. Instead, he and his team sought out extraordinary casks from more than 65 different producers around the world, which are then brought back to Kentucky for careful maturation and blending. The approach is inspired by Scotland's long tradition of independent bottlers and has changed the perception of what 'blending' can mean in American whiskey.
