Solear is Barbadillo's flagship Manzanilla and one of the best-selling sherries from Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

    Expert's Description

Barbadillo Solear Manzanilla Sherry is a Fortified Wine from Spain made from Palomino Fino, bottled at 15% ABV.

Manzanilla is a light, dry sherry style produced exclusively in the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, where the sea air gives it a characteristic salinity. Solear is delightfully dry and salty, and one of Barbadillo's most famous bottles.

    Did You Know?

Manzanilla can only be called Manzanilla if it is aged in Sanlúcar de Barrameda - the same wine aged in Jerez or El Puerto de Santa María is instead called Fino, even though the grape and process are the same.
