Appleton Estate 21 Year Single Estate Nassau Valley Cask is a Jamaican Rum matured for a minimum of 21 years and bottled at 43%.

The rum is a blend of hand-selected casks, all crafted with limestone-filtered water from Nassau Valley on Appleton Estate's own grounds and matured in Jamaica's tropical climate for at least 21 years. In the glass, it shows a mahogany hue with an olive-green ring that attests to its age, while the long maturation has given the rum a mature, nutty complexity.

Tasting Notes

Nose

A floral scent that develops into a mature, nutty bouquet with deep vanilla, echoes of orange peel, nutmeg, warm coffee and cocoa.

Palate

Rich vanilla, orange peel, nutmeg, freshly-brewed coffee and dark chocolate, complemented by warm banana bread, cinnamon toast, roasted pineapple and caramelised nuts in a silky, dry medium body.
