Fine, soft and round Zinfandel produced on grapes from the Lodi region, the center of Zinfandel, where the climate and soil are ideal for this grape. It has a long and proud tradition here in the US, despite the fact that it does not originate in the US as first thought. Lots of sun-ripened summer berries in aroma and taste. Fine vanilla and smoky notes from the barrel aging. There is pressure on the berry fruit, but the freshness is confirming. A wine that can handle all spicy meat dishes of beef, game or lamb!
