This is a summer variant (without smoke) that started its journey in a 1st fill bourbon barrel cask on February 28, 2013. This cask was split into 2 x 50 liter PX sherry casks on November 29, 2018 and one was bottled on April 3, 2020 for Whisky.dk. The story behind this project was born during the Corona crisis - Morten Jørgensen, the director of Fary Lochan called us in mid-March - when the distillery's visitor numbers dropped drastically from one day to the next. 

We were immediately on board - and the idea of giving something back to the Danish distilleries appealed to us. We discussed which of Fary Lochan's 4 different varieties of whisky would appeal to us the most. The choice fell on a PX Sherry cask and preferably in full cask strength. The task was passed on to Morten Jørgensen, Fary Lochaen - who immediately started sample samples from their many whisky casks. The result of the request came to us by post with 2 different suggestions. They were tasted and evaluated and with great consensus we chose cask #2013-02 - we hope you also liked the choice.
