About Max-Henrik Krause

I love wine! Whether it's red, white, sparkling or rosé, it doesn't matter, as long as it's wine made with quality in mind. In addition to being a winemaker at Whisky.dk, I run Rotweiss Vinimport ApS. Through this, we import a large part of the wines you can find in Whisky.dk's webshop as well as physically in the large store. Our common goal is to promote awareness of quality wines from countries that are relatively close to Denmark. This is partly because the wines from these countries taste good and partly because it is the right thing to do from a climate and environmental perspective. Going "over the river" for wine - implying overseas wines - is not our thing. We primarily import from small and medium-sized wineries where the focus is on quality and not quantity and where we know the winemaker and his or her philosophy, production method and quality level. We support organic / biodynamic viticulture and have it as a top priority when finding new wines for the portfolio. Although German wines are close to our hearts, we also have wines from Austria, France, Italy and something as rare as Luxembourg in our portfolio. In fact, we dare to say that we have the largest selection of Crémant de Luxembourg in Denmark! You'll find them along with a lot of other exciting wines on these pages.
