About Ardbeg An Oa:

The whisky is Ardbeg An Oa. A whisky with character and complexity, aged in three different casks and matured in the distillery's special 'Gathering Room'. The whiskies that make up Ardbeg An Oa are aged in a variety of casks, including virgin oak, ex-bourbon and sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry. The contrasting whiskies are aged in a special way in the distillery's specially developed 'Gathering Room', made from a former grain warehouse. Inside is the enormous 'Gathering Vat' - a wooden container made from French oak built specifically for the development of Ardbeg An Oa, where the three whiskies are blended together and allowed to rest. This ensures a full fusion of the flavors.
