Symington's Choice is Signatory Vintage's way of celebrating the very best casks — single casks so good they deserve their own name on the label.

    The expert's description

Edradour 2000/2024 Symington's Choice 23 years old is a Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a 1st fill Oloroso sherry butt and bottled at 56.2%.

The whisky was distilled on 17 November 2000 and matured for 23 years in a single 1st fill Oloroso sherry butt, cask #3151, before being bottled by Signatory Vintage on 29 April 2024. Only 656 bottles were drawn, and each bottle is individually numbered as part of the prestigious Symington's Choice series, which gathers some of the finest single casks from Signatory's warehouse.

Frequently asked questions about Edradour 2000/2024 Symingtons Choice 23 yo

What makes the Symington's Choice series special?

It's Signatory Vintage's prestige series, where only the very best single casks from the warehouse are selected and bottled under their own name.

    How many bottles exist?

Only 656 bottles were drawn from this single sherry cask, cask #3151.

    Who bottled the whisky?

It was bottled by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage, which also owns Edradour Distillery.

Is it worth the money as a collector's bottle?

How does Symington's Choice differ from a standard Edradour bottling?

The series is specifically curated to highlight single casks of exceptional quality, unlike the broader, more standardised bottlings.

How should this whisky be served?

Neat, at room temperature, in a tulip-shaped glass, so the deep sherry notes can fully unfold.
