Old Perth was a blend created in 1908 as a tribute to the city. Its popularity is probably due to a large proportion of sherry-stocked whisky. The name fell into oblivion as the many producers moved out of the city, but today the famous Morrison whisky family continues to carry on the name and history. They have created a range of whiskies that are blended in Perth - from specially selected single malt whiskies. The whiskies all come from the Glenlivet region of Speyside and are aged exclusively in sherry casks.Old Perth aged 12 years' has been aged for a full 12 years. This results in a whisky with an incredibly balanced flavor. It has notes of sherry-pickled fruits and spicy orange marmalade. It has a warm, lingering finish.
  Old Perth It has no added color and is not chill filtered. The Morrison family is today led by Jamie and Brian Morrison. For generations, the family has worked with whisky in every conceivable way - in retail and wholesale sales, as blenders and bottlers, and not least as distillers.
