Choripan with whiskychimichurri, 4 pers.

4 good fresh sausages (preferably chorizo),
4 good sausage rolls or pieces of baguette.

For the tomato salad: 1 large ripe tomato, 1 small red onion, 1 small red pepper, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar.

For chimichurri: 1 bunch freshly chopped parsley, 2 cloves pressed garlic, 1 tsp. dried oregano, 1/2 tsp. dried chili flakes, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar, 2 cl. Maclean's Nose Whisky.

- Cut the tomato into quarters and remove the seeds. Finely chop the tomato flesh, red onion and bell pepper. Mix the marinade with salt and pepper, add the vegetables and set aside for an hour.
- For your salsa chimichurri, simply pour all the ingredients into a bowl, stir well and leave it on the counter for an hour to let the flavors develop.
- Then it's time to grill the sausages, first whole and then cut lengthwise so that the flat side gets a turn. On the grill or on a grill pan.
- Then it's the turn of the bread, first on the outside and then on the inside.
- Place two half sausages in each bread, pour on the chimichurri and finally the salad mix

About the cookbook: Mad med promiller
Over the spring, the two owners of the largest liquor store in the Nordic region, Ulrik Bertelsen and Henrik Olsen, have been working to realize a long-standing dream.
