Thornæs Danish Single Young Malt 37,5 cl 49,6% Thornæs Danish Single Young Malt is the first release from the distillery's barrel stock. It has been aged for 17 months in cask, of which the first 12 months were spent in new Danish oak barrels. The remaining 5 months were aged in a bourbon quarter-cask. On the nose you can smell green grass and fresh hay followed by citrus, toffee, vanilla and dried apricot. The taste offers a good sweetness with caramel and vanilla as well as notes of citrus, pine and wood shavings.
