Puntacana XOX Oliver & Oliver, Dominican Republic. 40%

The rum is sun-aged for 25-30 years, then finished 3-6 months in Graham's Port wine casks. This rum is a 50th anniversary rum made in a limited edition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Oliver family's (the producer) immigration to the Dominican Republic from Cuba. Like most rums from the Dominican top producer Oliver & Oliver, this rum is composed of a blend of younger and older distillates, which are blended with a so-called mother rum of 25 years before being solera-aged.
